Company Formation & Business Setup
Pick the right structure, register it correctly, and trade from day one.
Setting up in Qatar starts with two decisions: what you will actually do, and the legal shell you will do it in. Get either wrong and you spend the next six months unwinding approvals. We take the commercial activity you have in mind, map it to the activities Qatar licenses, and recommend the structure — mainland LLC, single-person company, branch, representative office or free zone entity — that fits your ownership, tax and hiring plans.
From there we handle the paperwork end to end: trade name reservation, articles of association, notarisation, ministry approvals, Commercial Registration, trade licence, Computer Card and the bank introduction. You get one accountable team and an itemised quote that includes government fees before anything begins.

What this covers
The routes and categories we handle under company formation & business setup.
Limited Liability Company (LLC)
The most common structure in Qatar. Two to fifty shareholders, liability limited to capital contributions, and the widest range of permitted activities.
Single Person Company
One owner, full control. Suited to consultants and founders who want a simple entity with straightforward management.
100% Foreign-Owned Entity
Permitted in many sectors with MOCI approval, letting an overseas investor hold the entire shareholding.
Branch Office
Lets an established foreign company execute contracts in Qatar while operations stay with the parent.
Representative Office
A market presence for promotion and liaison only — no commercial activity and no income generated in Qatar.
Free Zone / QFC Entity
Full foreign ownership and a separate tax and regulatory framework, for businesses that fit the zone's permitted activities.
How it works
A fixed sequence, with a named contact accountable for each stage.
Consultation and activity check
We confirm your intended activity, who will own the entity and which approvals that combination triggers.
Structure and name
We recommend the legal form, reserve the trade name and prepare the articles of association.
Initial approvals
Pre-approvals are filed with MOCI and any sector authority — health, transport, media, sport — that governs the activity.
Notarisation and registration
Documents are notarised and the Commercial Registration and trade licence are issued.
Licence, premises and Computer Card
Municipality, civil defence and signage approvals are completed and your Computer Card is issued.
Bank account and tax registration
We introduce you to the bank, support the account application and register the company with the General Tax Authority.
Documents you'll need
Send what you have and we will tell you what is missing. Nothing is submitted until the file is complete, because an incomplete submission is what causes delays.
- Passport copies of every shareholder and manager
- Qatar ID copies for any resident shareholder or manager
- A short business plan or activity description
- Trade name options, in order of preference
- Proof of premises or tenancy, once secured
- Parent company incorporation documents, attested, for a branch or corporate shareholder
- Power of attorney, where a shareholder will not sign in person
